[Cookery manuscript and literary miscellanies] [1726-1732]

Cookery book with other miscellaneous prose and poetry entries, ranging from passages out of Bishop Beveridge's Thoughts on religion to classical romances to poetry by John Gay. The compiler of at least the later miscellaneous entries was a Helen Brackenridg, who inscribed and dated the volume in 1732. An earlier inscription with Latin mottoes and the date 1726 is likely in a different hand.
